This website was inspired by my own blind dog named Atomic and meant to be a source of inspiration for anyone who has gone through or will be going through a struggle with canine blindness.  Other than my friends that had his sister who was also blind, I didn’t know anyone else with a blind dog.  There is lots of information online but after volunteering as a Therapy Dog with my boy through an organization called Theraputic Paws of Canada (www.tpoc.ca), I wanted to share my story in detail.  My biggest problem now is the ignoring the stares and looks of shock on other peoples faces.
